I had a disappointing experience at the food section of Seafood City. There seemed to be enough staff working, but the operation felt very disorganized. The ordering process was chaotic, and customers were left waiting without a clear system. One thing that stood out was seeing the cashier also preparing desserts. It seemed like employees were juggling multiple roles instead of having clearly assigned responsibilities, which slowed everything down and created confusion. The food is good, but the overall experience could be much better with better organization and workflow. Hopefully management can improve the process so customers can enjoy a smoother and more efficient experience.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My parents and I were waiting in line to pay, and there was no sign indicating that the register was card-only. When we reached the front, the cashier informed us she was only accepting cards because she had already closed her register. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she complained about it, smacked her lips, and reluctantly agreed to help us. To make matters worse, she entered several items incorrectly, had trouble counting them, and had to re-enter everything after realizing she hadn’t checked the labels properly. The worst part of the experience was the older gentleman with glasses working at the front around 8:15 PM on June 19, 2026. We had two bags from Seafood City—one containing food from Grill City and one containing groceries. After showing him both bags and our grocery receipt, he continued scrutinizing it and unnecessarily held us up. My father pointed out that we had literally just completed our purchase within his line of sight. When I explained that customers cannot be detained without proper cause, he became argumentative and sarcastically responded, “Well, you’re the lawyer.” My father replied, “Yes,

Grand Opening? While this experience was fantastic, I feel compelled to mention some drawbacks that might be why they missed a star—the parking situation was quite challenging. I understand the demand, but for such a spacious venue, the parking spots seemed quite limited. On the plus side, they offer a variety of hot food options, and the addition of Baker’s Avenue is a nice touch, though I found their prices to be a bit steep. For those who are unfamiliar with Seafood City, it’s a vibrant market offering a wide selection of Asian groceries mostly Filipino, along with fresh seafood and a diverse array of ready-to-eat meals. The atmosphere is buzzing, making it a great spot to explore different culinary delights and discover new ingredients. Overall, I appreciate the effort put into this grand opening. If they can improve the parking situation, this place will definitely be a go-to destination for Asian food lovers.

Anaheim is so humid today that we craved for halo-halo. Parked in front of the building, the area was not so busy. We picked up a few groceries first before heading to Grill City. There’s no line up, servers are taking it easy. The atmosphere is relaxed. The surroundings is quiet and clean. Each table has a fresh plant that added beauty. Enjoyed the halo-halo, delightful colors and an indulgent look to the sweet tooth. Highly recommended!

This store is clean, offers variety of Filipino products, very nice staff. The only issues I have here is ordering food. The combo deals is limited. You can only order 1 grilled food and 1 entree. Atleast offer 2 grilled food instead of 1. It also took me 45 minutes to order my food. If you plan to shop, it is good. If you plan to eat there, make sure to plan ahead and be ready to wait 30 to 45 minutes to order your food.
